Crime Stoppers: Stolen Police Gear

Police detectives are investigating a series of thefts from vehicles. One of them includes $2,157 worth of guns and equipment belonging to the Bowling Green Police Department and the Bowling Green-Warren County Drug Task Force.

Stolen from an unmarked car parked on Patrick Way some time Saturday night, Nov. 11, 2006, were a handgun, a rifle, ammunition, two bullet-resistant vests, pepper spray, a digital camera, a baton, and a pair of binoculars. An investigative folder taken from the car was found nearby.
