A special Grand Jury investigating Governor Fletcher’s administration releases its final report.
The Grand Jury report says the Governor signed off on a “widespread and coordinated plan” to violate state hiring laws. It also says employees, job candidates and families were damaged when the laws were broken.
The Grand Jury returned a total 29 indictments in the case. Fletcher was charged with criminal conspiracy, official misconduct and political discrimination. The charges were later dismissed.
Any objections to the report were supposed to be filed before a closed hearing at three.
