Three Warren County candidates who requested a recanvass after losing in last week's election waited patiently the morning of Nov. 16, 2006, as their votes were tallied again.
Jimmy White, Delane Simpson and Cedric Burnam weren't necessarily counting on any changes, but they held out hope that a second look would still give them the election.
The results remain the same after Thursday's recanvass.
However, it did reveal City Commission candidate Donna Renaud received one more vote than previously reported.
Warren County Clerk Dot Owens said it'll be another 26 years before Kentucky sees a ballot this big again.
