Part of a Scottsville church congregation is returning from a lengthy trip after hoping to put the Ten Commandments back up for display in Alabama.
More than 30 church members from Victory Hill Ministries spent Monday in Montgomery, Alabama. The group held signs and wore t-shirts expressing their belief that the Ten Commandments should be posted.
Pastor Nathan Oakes, says he contacted suspended Chief Justice Roy Moore and asked him how they could help. Moore told him they needed more support outside of the state building so the group decided to visit.
