Double dutch, speed, backwards, and one legged, these are all different ways to jump rope. That's how some area students are spending a week this summer by attending a jumprope camp. It's all part of the Jumpin' Jaguar Jump Rope Camp at Natcher Elementary.
Kids learn all about the different ways to jump rope and have the opportunity to try out for the jump rope team at the school. Although these jumpropers make it look easy, it takes quite a bit of preparation. Despite all that preparation an occasional slip of the foot can happen. Never mind the mistakes though, these jumpers say they're having a good time.
This is the third year the Jumpin' Jaguars have been a team. They've competed in Orlando at the National Competition for two years.
