A Kentucky education group is suing the state's lawmakers. The Council for Better Education, which represents 164 school districts around the state, has filed a lawsuit against the State House and Senate.
The group claims the state is not adequately funding public schools or living up to the commitments made by the Kentucky Education Reform Act.
State Senator Brett Guthrie, who is on the Senate's Budget and Education Committee, says the state is providing adequate funding and points to some success stories as proof.
