Flags at Half-Staff for Soldier

The Department of Defense said 23-year old Pfc. Theodore West of Richmond, Ky., died on Nov. 29, 2006, in Baghdad, Iraq, of injuries suffered when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle during combat operations.

Flags will remain at half-staff throughout the state until sunset on the day of West's funeral.

Arrangements have not yet been determined.
