Authorities continue to look for answers after a man is found in a burned out vehicle, early this morning in Christian County.
The Christian County coroner pronounced 27-year-old James “Jimmy” C. Adkins, of Hopkinsville, dead at the scene. Adkins was found inside a burned vehicle at 14750 Ovil Road, on Kentucky 189. Police say an autopsy was performed today in Madisonville and the cause of death was probable smoke inhalation.
Reports say a couple found the body near their residence early this morning. The investigation is continuing by the Kentucky State Police and the Christian County Coroner’s office, but foul play isn’t suspected.
