It's no secret that the increase in the consumption of fast food and the decrease in the amount of exercise in children can cause problems, but cafeteria manager Jan Widelski is hoping to solve that problem.
She started the "Give Me Five" program where students are encouraged to make five good choices when loading their trays. The idea for the project came about after Widelski realized she wanted a better to way to teach students about nutrition.
