ACT Scores

The Kentucky Board of Education approves a plan to incorporate ACT scores into annual tests.

Education officials disagree over a specific timetable for fully implementing the change. Students' ACT scores will gradually weigh into the Commonwealth Accountability Testing System over the next few years.

All of Kentucky’s 11th grade students are required to take the ACT beginning next year. Education officials are trying to mesh the ACT with the Kentucky core curriculum test to avoid duplication.
