Three agencies sweep through three counties to round up 40 suspects indicted on drug charges.

Police officers from Butler, Simpson, and Logan Counties teamed up with Kentucky State Troopers and agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to help the South Central Kentucky Drug Task Force make the arrests.

Together the agencies arrested 32 of the 40 people they were after. Their charges range from trafficking in crack cocaine to morphine.

The round-up is the culmination of a six-month investigation by local, state and federal officers.
