Federal health officials are proposing label changes for anti-depressants.
If changed, the labels on the medication will warn about the risk of suicidal thoughts and behavior in patients age 24 and younger.
Currently, the warning on the package only applies to children and adolescents. The changes will also include recommending that patients of all ages be carefully monitored, especially when beginning antidepressant treatment.
