Kentucky Supreme Court Denies Transpark Opponents' Pleas

By  |

Supporters of the "Kentucky Trimodal Transpark" got an early Christmas present today.

Word comes from Warren County Judge-Executive, Mike Buchanon, the Kentucky Supreme Court has rejected the plea from the "warren County Citizens For Managed Growth" which had asked for discretionary review on all the remaining zoning appeals.

Buchanon says that means all the appeals by the opponents to the Transpark have been denied and the Transpark can go ahead as planned.

Buchanon has earlier said, "these frivolous suits have cost south central Kentucky nearly 4,000 jobs and $100,000,000-a-year in revenue."

That doesn't include the $1,000,000 Buchanon says the Transpark, city, and county governments have spent in court on these cases over the years.
