Barren County Jailer Leland Cox says he knew having sexual contact with employees was "wrong morally."
The Associated Press says Cox told investigators he thought the women involved would tell him if he crossed the line.
The Glasgow Daily Times reported Cox gave a 37-minute taped statement to Kentucky State Police Detectives July 24th, 2008, shortly after his arrest on 30 sex abuse charges.
In March, Cox entered an Alford Plea to the charges. Sentencing is set for March 2011.
Cox says sexual contact with the women happened for about a year and always with the workers at the jail that he believed he could trust.
