Four people are dead and three are in critical condition after a tragic car accident in Simpson County. Police say yesterday afternoon an S.U.V. carrying seven people lost control while going over Gold City Road in Simpson County.
The car then swerved into a tree killing four people and seriously injuring three others. The driver 41-year-old Corey Donald Reed, his daughter 15-year-old Katelyn Reed, his son 10-year-old Corey Reed, along with 16-year-old Gary Edison were all pronounced dead on the scene.
Many residents that live along Gold City Road say they see many drivers driving too quickly over the hills. Police are still investigating the cause of the accident and do not know how many of the passengers were wearing a seatbelt.
