Vacation Goers Enjoy Holiday at the Lake
The rain didn't keep too many people away during this long holiday weekend. The parking lots at Barren River Lake State Resort Park were filled with cars.

The rain didn't keep too many people away during this long holiday weekend.
The parking lots at Barren River Lake State Resort Park were filled with cars.
Several of those vacationing at the lake say they didn't mind the weather and enjoyed being able to spend time on the water with their family for July Fourth.
"We've been able to do a lot in between the weather, like tubing, going fast on the speedboat, stuff like that," said Dean Chapman, a resident of Oldham County.
Many we spoke with say they had a great weekend and enjoyed being able to cath the fireworks at the lake this weekend.
