This weekend we visited the 4th Annual Maple Syrup Festival held at Federal Grove Bed and Breakfast in Auburn, KY.
The two day festival featured everything from a delicious pancake breakfast to on site blacksmithing, attracting roughly 1500 people from many different areas.
In the spirit of the event visitors were able to witness the practice of maple syrup production all the way from the collection of the sap to the process in which it becomes ready to smother on a fresh stack of flapjacks.
Our visit will be featured on an upcoming episode of “The Local Traveler”, and it’s one you won’t want to miss.
