President Bush Visits Kentucky

President Bush visited the Commonwealth Thursday afternoon, voicing his support for Gubernatorial Candidate Ernie Fletcher.

Around 1,700 people attended the Lexington fund-raiser that cost $500 to $1,000 to attend, making the event the biggest single financial boost to Fletcher's campaign.

In his speech, President Bush said regardless of political party affiliation, the choice for Kentucky Governor is Ernie Fletcher.

The fund-raiser brought in more than one million dollars for Fletcher's campaign and the state Republican Party. Despite the financial boost, President Bush warned supporters that money alone would not be enough in November.
