U.S. Congressman Brett Guthrie announced today that he secured $500,000 to fund bio-fuels research at the WKU Institute for Combustion Science and Environmental Technology.
Guthrie says he believes the funding will enable critical research to happen at the university.
Recently, WKU has invested in the efforts to help make our country energy independent.
Buddy Steen, the Director of the WKU Center for Research and Development, says their studies have the ability to help revolutionize the bio-fuel industry.
