There is more trouble for the communities at Oakwood.
A former employee for the facility has been arrested just two months after she was indicted for abusing mentally challenged people who live there.
Prosecutors said Christina Branscum of Eubank abused three residents on four different occasions while working at Oakwood last summer.
Some of the alleged abuse involved pulling residents’ hair and putting one resident’s head in a toilet and flushing it.
The firm managing Oakwood changed several months ago and officials said there hasn’t been any new cases of abuse since then.
Branscum is the 16th Oakwood employee to be arrested since 2004. Her arraignment is scheduled for Jan. 18.
