Bowling Green is known for corvettes, big red, and caves but what may surprise you is that Bowling Green is also the home of the largest bicycle motor cross tracks in the state and one of the largest tracks in the nation.
Bicycle Motor Cross better known as BMX Racing has made a huge comeback. Ephram White BMX Supertrack hosted the Kentucky State Championship Sunday afternoon.
More than 40 people ranging from four years old to 50 competed in the race. Track Director, Curt Oakley, says his main focus for the two-year old track is for kids to have other opportunities to get involved. He hopes to make the BMX Track as well- known as other local attractions. If you would like more information about the BMX Supertrack you can call Curt at (270) 202-9515.
