A Western Kentucky University professor receives honors for promoting a drug-free lifestyle.

Tommy Booras, an assistant professor in broadcast production, was honored by the Tennessee office of the Drug Enforcement Administration, for his part in an anti-drug campaign.

Booras collaborated with The Voice Team, a Nashville, Tn, based talent agency, to write a radio spot for DEA’s Red Ribbon Week. The spot, “just say yes to a drug free lifestyle,” was a national campaign that honored slain a DEA agent.
