An early morning robbery leaves a Bowling Green man recovering from a stab wound.
Police were called to 13th and Clay Streets around 2 a.m. on Jan. 9, 2007. Trieu Dong Vo told police he was driving on West 13th Street when a black male jumped in front of his car. The man got into his car, held a knife to Vo's neck and demanded his wallet.
Vo said he was punched twice and stabbed in the chest. The man took his wallet and left the area in an unknown direction.
Vo was taken to the Medical Center for a half-inch cut to the center of his chest about an eighth of an inch deep.
Vo was released shortly after he was treated.
