In Kentucky, Democrat Crit Luallen is seeking a second term as State Auditor.
Luallen filed her candidacy papers with the Secretary of State’s Office today, Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2007. That’s less than two months after declining to enter the governor’s race.
Fifty-four-year-old Luallen said the Auditor’s Office is a vitally important job but one that allows her to balance her personal and professional life.
No other Democrats have entered the May primary. Linda Greenwell has entered the Republican primary. Luallen beat Greenwell by more that 15,000 votes in 2003.
