Know who you're getting a ride from before you get in the car!
Just before 11 o'clock yesterday morning, Kentucky State Police arrested two men in Hopkins county for manufacturing meth.
They came across 31-year-old Darick D. Howton of Earlington, in a car parked near Pond River Collier Road.
Troopers also found items consistent with making meth in and around the vehicle.
Darick's brother, 26-year-old William "Coby" Howton of Madisonville, fled on foot when troopers arrived.
William was caught a short time later when he came out of the woods to ask for a ride from a KSP detective in an unmarked car.
Both men are being held on $25,000 bonds.
