Sex Education

When high school students in Kentucky were asked if they had ever had sexual intercourse, 54 percent of them said yes. That's why the health department is sponsoring a program that aims to keep that number down. It's called the P.S.I. program which stands for postponing sexual involvement.

In Warren County, select high schoolers visit the middle schools serving as role models and encouraging abstinence. The Health Department, which runs the class, hopes to keep teen pregnancies and S.T.D.'s down.
