One of the many organizations that relies on volunteers with was presented a generous gift today by an area college.
Lindsey Wilson College presented the Center for Courageous Kids a check today for more than 700 dollars.
The Scottsville-based organization provides free activities and medical treatment to seriously ill and disabled children.
Lindsey Wilson raised the money by holding a yard sale, and 100% of the proceeds went to the Center.
The check will help cover expenses, and the organization.
The Center for Courageous Kids has hosted more than 3,000 campers from 20 different states, at no charge to guests or their families.
