A Morgantown man is facing several charges after an incident with a female friend.
According to Kentucky State Police, 57-year-old David Anthony threatened his friend and her daughter with a handgun. The friend dialed 911. While dispatchers were on the phone, they heard gunshots.
KSP units were advised to enter the residence. Anthony had placed several items in front of the door and turned off the electricity at the residence.
KSP said Anthony attempted to climb out the window. He was then apprehended by officers.
Anthony was lodged in the Butler County Jail on fleeing-evading police, resisting arrest, terroristic threatening, wanton endangerment and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
