Bowling Green Police are investigating vandalism to a local park.

Sometime Friday night, January 19 someone spray painted the new shelter at Kereiakes Park on Fairview Avenue.

Vulgar expressions were painted on the doors, bricks, and picnic area, causing more than $1,000 in damage.

On that same night, graffiti was painted on the rear of a grocery store on Russellville Road and at the Preston Miller Water Park.

Police are looking into the possibility all the vandalism is related.

If you know anything about this graffiti please call Crime Stoppers at 781-CLUE, or click here to go to their web site.
