Central City may soon be going through some changes after an election Tuesday night.
Residents voted in favor of selling alcohol within city limits.
The last time the wet/dry issue was voted on was 10 years ago. Last night the issue was up for election again and passed by 210 votes. Supporters say selling alcohol will bring in revenue while opponents say it will only bring problems.
Residents in Central City were able to vote on the issue after a petition was filed. It is up to the city commission to decide where the alcohol will be sold at the next city commission meeting in August.
