General Assembly Resumes Monday

This year's General Assembly resumes on Monday and there's plenty for state leaders to debate over the next two months.

One initiative would eliminate state income tax for active duty soldiers.

Another would require middle school girls to become vaccinated against a sexually transmitted disease that could cause cancer.

With the Governor's mansion up for grabs experts believe this year's session could be quite a shot for voters.

The leaders of the House and the Senate say they're going to make sure the good of the state is put ahead of partisan politics.
