If you were traveling south on Interstate 65 between Barren and Warren County just before noon today, Monday, Feb. 5, 2007, you probably experienced delays.
According to Kentucky State Police Trooper Jonathan Biven, a driver of a Star Transportation Truck fell asleep at the wheel earlier today. The 18-wheeler then went off the right shoulder of the road and down an embankment.
The identity of the driver has not been released but he was life flighted to Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville.
The truck is 200 feet off the roadway and KSP expected delays throughout the day to remove it.
