House Democrats unveiled nine initiatives they plan to work on in the 2007 session.
These include social worker safety, a vaccine for the virus that causes most cervical cancers but with parental consent, affordable long-term care and KEES extension for active duty military.
“These are scholarships that are paid by the lottery money and up to this point they have not been allowed to people in the service,” said House Speaker Jody Richards.
Speaker Richards said these bills go along with several announced in the session last year.
