More than 100 firefighters are finally finished after putting out one of Beaver Dam's largest fires in years. Around 1 a.m. 14 area fire departments were called to put out a huge blaze at Beaver Dam Building Supply.
Firefighters suspect the blaze started near some paint thinner and grew from there destroying the long time family owned business.
No one was injured in the blaze but several people were shook up. Recently the city of Beaver Dam bought new equipment for the fire department.
Firefighters say with the new materials they were able to keep the fire from destroying any businesses or homes nearby.
