Progress continues to be made on Bowling Green's newest and largest planned community development. The Olde Town urban area, located across from the new East-Side Park on Scottsville Road, will be centered around a new golf course touted as one of the state's best.
The 535 acre urban area will include retail shops, office space, and between 425 and 500 homes, making it larger then Warren County's 2nd biggest city, Smith's Grove. Olde Town property has already been annexed into the Bowling Green city limits.
Developers say they hope to open the golf course in August or September of 2005, and the first homes may break ground as soon as late 2004 or early 2005.
