Your student now has the opportunity to be better prepared to make the transition from school to work and life beyond the classroom.
Citizens First Bank is sponsoring the Work Ethic Seal program for high school seniors along with the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce and Junior Achievement. Strong Work Ethic helps students obtain and understand successful and meaningful employment.
"You never know what it's like in a job until you have worked in it, so what were trying to do is bring that reality and those work experiences to the students and help them to understand so they will be better prepared for working in the workplace," said Manon Pardue, Work Force Devlopment Chair.
If you would like to more information on the program and how to get your senior involved you can contact the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce at (270) 781-3200. Scholarships are also available for students who complete the program. To view the Work Ethic Seal click here.
