Larue County Teacher Receives Four DUIs and Jail Time

A South Central Kentucky teacher is sentenced to three years in jail after pleading guilty to a felony DUI charge.

Robin Owsley taught in the Larue County School System. She was charged with a DUI in Barren County in January 2006.

Last August, Owsley was charged again after passing out in front of students.

Barren Circuit Judge Phil Patton revoked Owsley's bond in September in reference to her fourth DUI charge, which is a felony.

Owsley appeared before Patton for sentencing on Monday, Feb. 19, 2007. She was given three years and is currently lodged in the Barren County Jail.
