Kentucky's former lieutenant governor and his wife, a former Miss America, are teaching Bowling Green kids a thing or two about their health.
Steve and Heather French-Henry were at St. Joe's Catholic School Tuesday. Steve Henry is a doctor and has written an article with six other physicians about childhood obesity.
Steve Henry, MD, says, "First, we're going to talk with the children about how they don't need oversized french fries and they don't need soft drinks in their lives. We're very concerned about the amount of milk our children are drinking versus the number of soft drinks."
Heather French-Henry also spoke to children about veterans in Kentucky and read to them about her soon-to-be-released children's book.
