Japanese anime fans filled the Sloan Convention center on Saturday.

Anime is a form of Japanese animation, characterized by highly stylized, colorful art and futuristic settings.
Bowling Green hosted it's very first anime convention this weekend called Daigacon.
The convention brought anime lovers from all over the world together to celebrate the art form.
People of all ages participated in the convention with many dressed up as their favorite character.
Three VIP's even traveled all the way to Bowling Green from Japan just for the conference.
