A Barren County woman is arrested for taking money from the convenience store where she worked.
The Barren County Sheriff’s office reports 38-year-old Virginia Vincent was arrested for taking more than $55,000 since October of 2006.
Vincent worked for Phillips Market in Hiseville for a little over 18 years. Police say she was cashing out lottery tickets that didn’t exist and keeping the money.
She was lodged in the Barren County Jail and has since been released. Vincent is charged with theft by unlawful taking.
