Some of you may wrinkle your nose at the thought of eating vegetables. Well the Warren County School dietitician has an even harder time trying to find ways to get students to eat them.

Moss Middle school student Rae Ann, says she prefers to eat out but today she is settling for cafeteria food. Rae Ann is like many students who turn their nose the other way when it comes to cafeteria food, especially when it comes to the green stuff.

Doris Pruitt, dietitician for Warren County schools, says vegetables are just one of the items they must provide when maintaining a balanced menu. That's why the school has programs, like vegetable treasures that focus on making nutritious foods more appetizing. Pruitt says providing a healthy meal is essential to these growing bodies.
