State police have determined that alcohol was a contributing factor in a two-vehicle fatality crash.
According to KSP, the collision happened on U.S. 31-W in Simpson County last night, Monday, March 5, 2007.
Twyanna Stevens’ car collided with a pickup driven by 44-year-old Robert Burress of Franklin. Stevens was pronounced dead at the scene. Burress was taken to the Medical Center for non life-threatening injuries.
State police say Stevens had been drinking. A passenger in Steven’s car, 20-year-old Samantha Gann of Franklin, was flown to Vanderbilt University hospital.
Another passenger, 20-year-old Brandon Carter, was treated and released at the Medical Center.
