A Russell Springs teenager is dead after a fatal accident Monday morning.

A Russell Springs teenager is dead after a fatal accident Monday morning.
It happened around 10:45a.m., about a half mile North of Eli on KY 76.
Seventeen-year-old Brently Frost of Russell Springs was driving a 2003 Ford Focus when he lost control in a curve, ran off the road, and hit a tree.
He was flown from the scene to UK Medical Center.
Frost's passenger, 17-year-old Travis Popplewell also of Russell Springs was pronounced dead at the scene.
Neither teen was wearing a seat belt.
