As the anniversary of Sept. 11 draws closer, the memories of the horrible day come flooding back.

The importance of being prepared for mass destruction is high on the priority list for state officials.

Local, state and federal agencies come together in Bowling Green for a training workshop on responding to emergencies caused by weapons of mass destruction.

The workshop emphasized the importance of teamwork between emergency response agencies.

Over 100 employees attended the training session.
