Christian Family Radio is a non-profit and has seen first hand the hard work and dedication of the volunteers in our area. It's also bee a recipient of of their generosity. So to honor them, Christian Family Radio is hosting its first ever Community Impact Awards.
The finalists for Outstanding Business of the Year are Culver's of Bowling Green, SCA Personal Care of Bowling Green, and Wendy's of Bowling Green.
The finalists for Outstanding Non-Profit of the Year are Barren Heights Retreat of Scottsville, Hunter's Crossing Neighborhood Association of Bowling Green, and Potter Children's Home and Family Ministries of Bowling Green.
The finalists for Outstanding Philanthropist of the Year are David Garvin, Jim and Darlene Johnson, and Mike Murphy.
The finalists for Volunteer of the Year are Dan Edmonson, Jude Gann, and Jacqueline Olson.
"We felt that it would be appropriate to highlight the philanthropic side of the community by honoring them with awards," said Mike Wilson, the Station Manager of Christian Family Radio.
The finalists will be recognized at a banquet on November 19th at the National Corvette Museum. The cost is $25 per person. For reservations you can call (270) 781-7326.
