At a cost of $57,000, the water park is undergoing some extensive maintenance.
In addition to resurfacing the bottom of the pool, workers have painted the inside of the pool house and all the railings. They are also replacing the safety surface at the water playground with concrete.
This years fees will stay the same, but concession prices are decreasing.
The park is set to open May 26, and possibly the weekend before.
Applications for lifeguards and pool attendants can be picked up at city hall.
