March Madness means basketball to most of us, but it meant a trip to jail for the folks caught up in Warren County’s Operation March Madness Drug Round-up, on the morning of Thursday, March 15, 2007.
A six-month investigation by the Bowling Green - Warren County Drug Task Force and Kentucky State Police Drug Enforcement Special Investigations Unit, put 25-year-old William Hass behind bars.
Authorities seized more than two pounds of marijuana and $3,300 at his residence at Gobbler Court. Twenty-two-year-old Emily Jones who was also wanted in the round-up on drug charges, was located and arrested at the Hass residence.
Forty-six-year-old Clarence Allen was picked up at 1028 Adams Street. Besides his drug counts, he’s also charged with endangering the welfare of a minor.
Twenty-three-year-old Matthew Kinkade of 1516 Parkhurst Drive, was arrested for drugs and possessing a firearm as a convicted felon, while 26-year-old Muhamed Adburahmanovic of Alvaton is charged with trafficking less than five pounds of marijuana.
Police say more arrests may be forthcoming.
