Congressman Ron Lewis, the Computer and Communications Industry Association, and community leaders in Bowling Green gathered on Saturday to alert taxpayers on free services online.
"This is an opportunity for people who have recieved earned income tax credits, the military, the medium income families...This is an opportunity for them fo file their taxes online at no cost", says Ron Lewis.
Congressman Lewis and officials urged those that haven't filed to e-file with FreeFile.
Since the online program's debut in 2003, more than 15.4 million returns have been prepared and e-filed through the program.
