Logan County Nature Park

If you've ever seen a Kentucky Nature Plate on the back of car and wondered where the plates' profits go, you'll soon be able to see the results.

The Logan County Conservation District recently received a $360,000 grant from the nature plate's land conservation fund.

The money will be used to develop a 66 acre nature park in Russellville. The Logan County Conservation District plans to take students to the site for classes.

The park is being called the "Baker Natural Area" after the family who owned half the land.

Construction is set to start next year if everything goes as planned.
