A second Butler County infant is hospitalized after suffering from child abuse. Kentucky State Police say a ten-month-old baby boy was taken to the hospital last week for swelling of the head and facial area.
Police arrested 32-year-old Gary Cox of Morgantown, in connection with the baby’s injuries. Cox is charged with first degree criminal abuse. He’s lodged in the Butler County Jail. The baby is listed in stable condition at Kosair Children’s Hospital in Louisville.
Just last week a two-month old baby from Butler County was taken to Kosair’s. Police say that baby was assaulted by Abraham Gaspar of Rochester. Police are still searching for Gaspar.
